In April 2020, the Cape Cod Culinary Incubator (CCCI), Jeni Wheeler (of Jeni’s Joy and the Faith Family Kitchen), and the American Culinary Federation of Cape Cod created the Cape Cod Family Table Collaborative to serve meals to those in need as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through the support of many in the local community, the Collaborative has been able to continue distributing meals each Friday at the Hyannis Youth and Cultural Center. Additional local distribution has also occurred on most Tuesdays when a sponsoring organization and location are available. Specifics about meal distribution can be found on the Family Table Collaborative Facebook page.
Meals are currently prepared at Camp Wingate*Kirkland in Yarmouth Port, MA and transported to the distribution location in refrigerated trucks provided by Guaranteed Fresh Produce.
